Making 3D a language, not an effect
3D & real time — case study
Context
Projects where the visual experience carries as much of the message as the written content.
Problem
3D quickly adds weight and complexity without saying anything — the risk is a hollow technical demo.
Response
Both the Festival de la Cour Denis site and jonweb.fr itself carry a 3D scene designed as a backdrop in service of the message, not as a technical showcase.
Result
Visual material that stays light, consistent with the project's identity, and never overtakes the content.
Measured performance
A real-time project is judged on the visitor's device, not the development machine. We test on real hardware — iPhone SE 3, Pixel 6a, MacBook Air M1 — with quality profiles that adapt to each device's capabilities. Load resilience is verified across three distinct test phases, not just at launch.
